I tried to keep up with each day post for birthday week but it definitely got away from me! Monday and Tuesday were amazing, I've enjoyed taking the week to really focus on what brings me joy. I haven't done everything on my list, but this week has been a flurry of activities and a lovely blend of magical moments.

Wednesday I planned to have a nail appointment but my schedule with volunteering and planning for a huge event in May 2022 (details another time 😏) didn't give me much time. I was blue to start the day but my mood improved once I got out into the sunshine. After running around all day I was exhausted and was going to pass on the Spoken Word event I planned to attend BUT I pulled through and went anyway. I'm so glad I did, it was one of the best events of the year 🙌🏾
All of my favorite poets performed, the energy was high and I'm so glad I ended the year watching such talented people. I can't wait until it returns in 2022.
水曜日はネイルアポイントメントを予定していましたが、2022年5月の大規模なイベントのボランティアと計画のスケジュール（詳細は別の機会に😏）では、あまり時間がありませんでした。 一日の始まりは青かったのですが、日差しの中に入ると気分が良くなりました。 一日中走り回った後、私は疲れ果てて、参加する予定だったスポークンワードのイベントを通過するつもりでしたが、とにかく通り抜けて行きました。 本当に嬉しかったです。今年の最高のイベントの1つでした🙌🏾
私の好きな詩人全員が演奏し、エネルギーが高く、そのような才能のある人々を見て今年を終えることができてとてもうれしいです。 2022年に戻ってくるまで待ちきれません。
Thursday was filled with school, school, and more school. 🥴 I ended up getting a huge chunk of schoolwork done, and it looks like I'll be wrapping with this part of my education journey for now! Returning to obtain a different degree in the spring, plus I found out I was admitted to a 10 week small business program, I'm so excited to get my business running strong in 2022. 💪🏾 😏
I saw Spider-Man No Way Home last night, it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND FANTASTIC!!! I won't spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it, but I highly recommend you check it out. It's a satisfying conclusion to the Tom Holland Spider-Man story and seeing the progress of the actor and the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a roller-coaster in the best way. Make sure you stay until the end. 😉👌🏾

My birthday photoshoot went SO well, I loved shooting with Jessica I'm looking forward to how the images end up coming out. I had a specific vision in mind for the shoot and I think we captured it perfectly. ❄🕊💙 I can't wait to show y'all the results! Today I didn't have class but I did have FedUp Friday food distribution. Fed Up is a project of Raise Up, NC Poor People’s Campaign, and Carolina Jews for Justice. We are stepping in to do what our government isn’t – we’re building worker power to push with dignity and grit for the changes we need and we’re keeping bellies full. So twice a month since COVID-19 started we've been distributing over 500 bags of food to families I Durham. We're connecting the community with their political power to make changes from the bottom up. I love FedUp, I also work with the political education working group and I'm excited for how the project will change in 2022. It did take a lot out of me though, I'm still tired from seeing Spider-Man so late! 😴

Tomorrow I'm going to full moon yoga 🧘🏾♀️ ✨ 😌 I absolutely cannot wait because I really need to stretch this body!! Plus after fasting today, I'm excited to see how my body connects with the moon and what new shapes we create. 🌙 😍
Saturday night and Sunday birthday plans go into full swing. Not 100% certain of what chapter 35 of my life will bring, but I'm walking forward with confidence and trust in the Creator.
And a sprinkle of optimism for good measure 💫🥂
